Anavi Light Controller ESP home assistant integration
Project Update · [VIDEO] ESPHome and Home Assistant
0.030
As a development board ANAVI Light Controller gives numerous opportunities. The default open source firmware is fully compatible with Home Assistant and even supports automatic discovery over MQTT. In the past there was a showcase with ESPEasy and Domoticz. Alternatively, you can also flash EPSHome to ANAVI Light Controller.

Injection molds are almost done, an LED sample is in, Agent/firmware is coming along, and we finally managed to meet up with Santiago.

We’ve pre-assembled the parts of 2,000 UHKs. Things are progressing rapidly, but color-matching plastic parts and pad printing them accurately was more problematic than anticipated. The rejected parts are being remanufactured and are expected to be ready by next week, at which point the assembly and delivery of batch 1 of the first 2,000 UHKs will begin.

We got a nice invitation from Christian Bäuerlein, organizer of Mechanicon, the largest German meetup for mechanical keyboard enthusiasts. Based on the video and photos of Mechanicon 2017, it’s quite an event, so we’ll be there!

Since the successful close of our funding campaign, We've been incredibly busy preparing to deliver LimeSDRs to all our backers. Just as we worked hard during the campaign - internally, with key partners, and with our fantastic beta testers in the community — creating a series of exciting demos, we continue to work to ensure backers will have a first-class experience upon receiving their hardware. In this update, we'll review the state of the production schedule, hardware design, testing setup, documentation, app store, and more.

Set up your own Digital Audio Broadcast transmitter with a LimeSDR. To learn how, read the full update.

ScopeFun provides 12 digital General Purpose Input/Output (GPIO) pins. These digital channels – which can serve either as inputs or as outputs – are useful for a wide range of applications. ScopeFun includes two instruments that make use of the GPIO: the logic analyzer and the digital pattern generator. For this update, we have created a short tutorial that demonstrates both applications.

Precursor
In the first weeks since units shipped to backers, there has been a whirlwind of activity in firmware development. We're delighted to see such a vibrant community come together - thank you to everyone who has shared their experiences so far with us and the Internet. It really means a lot to us that people are using and enjoying their devices!

We’re pleased to announce our first turnkey “app” for Precursor: the “Vault” Authentication App. The Vault app can manage U2F/FIDO2, TOTP, and conventional passwords, all from a single UX, and in a plausibly deniable manner.

With the campaign successful (woohoo!) and concluded, our efforts have now transitioned to preparing-for and starting production. We'll keep you all informed as we progress with production, but in this update I wanted to tell you about how the mechanical design of the Front and Rear Enclosure Panels was done ... with Python.

Well, the TinyNES is actually going to happen now that we've more than doubled our campaign goal! This is so awesome! Thanks everyone for your support and for finding this little project interesting. We have more surprises in store too! For this update, we're going to talk a little about some of the weird details of trying to make electronics right now, how the global chip shortage has and hasn't impacted this particular project, and what it looks like to tackle some DFM (Design For Manufacturing) details. Maybe this stuff is too wonky for most people? You decide...

Precursor
Project Update · The Platform

Precursor is a mobile, open source electronics platform. Similar to how a Raspberry Pi or an Arduino can be transformed into an IoT gadget with the addition of a couple breakout boards, some solder, and a bit of code, Precursor is a framework upon which you can assemble a wide variety of DIY mobile applications. This update talks a bit about what makes Precursor unique, and then moves on to the ins and outs of our design philosophy.
