QuadRF exceeded its funding goal in just 22 hours, making it one of the fastest campaigns at this level in Crowd Supply history. Thank you all for the incredible support. And we're still going! For those who make it into the first 1,000 backers, we are pushing hard for early deliveries.

KrakenSDR
Project Update · New Demo Videos of KrakenSDR in Action!

Over the past few months we have released two new demonstration videos, and there have been some user uploaded videos demonstrating the KrakenSDR in action as well.

SDRangel on Android
We have two new demos to share featuring the LimeSDR Mini being used with SDRangel, both courtesy of Marty Wittrock, a veteran user of the larger 2x2 MIMO LimeSDR board and a keen advocate for amateur radio use.

LimeSDR Mini (Top and Bottom Renders)
A question that we are often asked is, “Does the LimeSDR (Mini) support Windows?”. The answer to which is, yes! Check out this video demo.

LimeRFE
Two days left! In this update, we will look at the performance of our final LimeRFE 1v0 design by combining measurements from the prototype 0v3 board with simulated results for the newly added amateur radio bands (50/70 MHz, 220 MHz, and 920 MHz) and the updated 1280 MHz band.

LimeSDR Mini with Aluminum Case
In this latest demo, Evariste Okcestbon has paired a LimeSDR Mini with a Raspberry Pi Zero plus Raspberry Pi Camera, to create what may well be the smallest DVB transmitter ever made.

LimeNET Micro was originally designed with narrowband applications in mind, such as GSM and various IoT air interfaces. For this reason and so as to also keep the Raspberry Pi Compute Module USB entirely free for other uses, the decision was made to use SPI bus for SDR interfacing. However, since launching the campaign we’ve received quite a few requests from users who would benefit from being able to use higher sample rates and bandwidths.

Project Update · Optimising Performance on HF
0.010
In this update, we describe how to use a LimeSDR on HF bands (<30 MHz) and what modifications we can perform on your board to do so before shipping to you. Be sure to take the survey mentioned later in this update if you're interested in HF!

LimeRFE
Project Update · LimeRFE in Action!

We are pleased to announce two new accessories for the LimeSDR: the GPIO Board and Hacker Case.

LimeRFE and LimeNET Micro
Daniel Estévez paired a LimeNET Micro with a LimeRFE prototype to access the QO-100 narrowband transponder using an off-the-shelf 24 dBi Wi-Fi grid antenna.

Project Update · Demonstration of SDR Console
0.010
We are pleased to report that the latest version of SDR Console—the popular, easy-to-use Windows application—now includes support for LimeRFE. This update includes a brief description of SDR Console's new features along with a video demonstration.

The engineering team are constantly striving to improve the overall performance and user experience of the LimeSDR platform, and in a blog post this week over on Myriad-RF, Andrew takes a look at a change in the way that SPI programming of the LMS7002M FPRF transceiver is handled, which has resulted in much faster read and write operations.
