Pixel Pump
Project Update · Our Campaign Is Live!
0.010
Using tweezers to place SMD components always felt a little silly to me. (Extracting a part from the tape on which it was shipped, then dumping it onto a table just so you could pick it up again?) So I set out to optimize that workflow. Pixel Pump uses suction and tiny nozzles—just like the automated machines for which SMD tape was designed—to help you pick and place SMD components more quickly and more easily.

Project Update · Tools and Training

Tigard was designed first and foremost as a tool to enable our training. By extension, it's well suited to plenty of real-world uses as well, which is why we opted for this CrowdSupply campaign as well. Whether you're pledging $39 or $1337, I think you deserve decent documentation and some tutorials on how to use Tigard. This week, I'll start by explaining a little bit of my training philosophy, then I'll outline what will be available for training and documentation, and finally, I'll wrap up with a bit about the economics of running a training business.
