The main reason why we haven’t posted an update recently is because we’ve been trying to get as much done as possible before the beginning of the Chinese New Year celebrations.

The development theme for the past two months has been "gloss": things that improve the user experience or clean up technical debt in the code base. Stuff like clearer documentation, performance improvements, working with community developers to pull in staged features, and better CI coverage.

Thanks to all of your support, Maxwell is almost funded! We just need a few more backers to join in. So, if you were thinking about going for it, now's the time! In this update, I'd like to tell you a bit about the *Outdoor Maxwell Node*. In my opinion, this is something that really sets Maxwell apart from other mesh systems. I'm not aware of ANY that offer an outdoor node.

Most orders have already shipped to backers. We have a delay with the PoE HAT production, and some of your orders include this item. You might already noticed that we published guides on our Wiki. If you missed this - here are the list of guides we have now:

Thanks to your initial support, Maxwell is nearly 20% funded in just the first few days - looking good! Keep it coming, please! In this week's update, I will take a look at one of the features that really sets Maxwell apart in the world of mesh wifi: monitoring.

Project Update · The Evolution of Haasoscope

The Haasoscope is now basically "done" - I've ordered one last prototype, which I'll test early in the new year. After that I'll order a couple final prototypes fully assembled, and then tweak any last little things and press go for an order of 200 boards! I'd say I'm still on schedule for February delivery.
