Project Update · Extending a Target’s Serial Port
0.010
It is often valuable to be able to send messages from the target system when monitoring its state. Black Magic Probe (BMP) implements a USB serial port that performs this task. It provides a serial connection that you can attach to a UART of the target. BMP will then send the data it receives through this connection to a second USB serial port on the host computer. ctxLink now provides the same functionality, over the network, by exposing a separate TCP port to which client applications can connect in order to receive serial data from the target.

Project Update · And, We're Live!
0.010
Have you ever felt like your beloved projects deserve the right to speak? And not just 'beep beep' and 'ta da', but actual, informative, appealing sounds? How about two-channels stereo audio? You could have some fun with that, right? Surely someone has written Wi-Fi-radio firmware...but what if I told you that someone has even created an ESP32-powered Spotify smart speaker? That should be enough to keep those two cores busy, don't you think? Just add a Lithium battery for portability and you have yourself a complete product!

If you had trouble placing an order from the EU and received errors about a missing CE certification, please give it another try. There appears to have been a misconfiguration in Crowd Supply's ordering system that incorrectly excluded EU backers for approximately five days. That misconfiguration has since been fixed. For clarification, KrakenSDR will have CE certification, making it legal to sell and use within the EU. This update also includes details about our software-development progress and about antenna-array spacing.

May 3rd is here! A few weeks ago this campaign was still feeling pretty theoretical to me and I am still so amazed and grateful to each person who's backed her that the Circuit Classics campaign is off to such a phenomenal start.

One of HackEEG's super-powers is speed. Because it has a wired USB connection to a host computer like a laptop or a Raspberry Pi, it can read and transfer data much faster than many other EEG devices.

Precursor is a mobile, open source electronics platform. Similar to how a Raspberry Pi or an Arduino can be transformed into an IoT gadget with the addition of a couple breakout boards, some solder, and a bit of code, Precursor is a framework upon which you can assemble a wide variety of DIY mobile applications. This update talks a bit about what makes Precursor unique, and then moves on to the ins and outs of our design philosophy.
